課程概述 |
The aim of the course is to provide the students with basic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. By the end of the course the students will have acquired a fair knowledge of the full range of basic grammatical structures and vocabulary. Although most topics will follow those covered in the course textbook, others will be introduced using supplementary resource material.
After completing the course, students should be able to:
• Communicate orally and in writing with a fair degree of accuracy on a basic range of subject areas.
• Describe and discuss present and past events..
• With preparation, present a grammatically correct and coherent argument.
• Read and understand elementary texts.

• To introduce basic grammar rules and structures, as required by the class curriculum.
• To introduce basic vocabulary, as required by the class curriculum.
• To develop all the basic language skills, i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking

課程要求 |
Regular attendance (4 hours a week) and regular submission of coursework are essential for successful completion of the course. Attendance records are kept for all students. |
